Redshift Array

The Redshift Array is a 16-channel speaker array designed to be installed and used for large scale location based events, installations and performances. For this project I designed and developed a spatial audio controller using MaxMSP, so that files could easily be loaded and played through the the speaker array. As well, the user can customize a 2-dimensional layout for the array, and position sounds within that space, and the patch calculates the volume per speaker based on a speaker radius.
