Corva is currently under development and in the early prototype phase.

The story of ‘Corva’, written by Mark Marinic, is a science-fiction story set in a world reeling in the wake of a cataclysm. Magic has been destroyed, and in its place: strange power-granting crystals have appeared, scattered across the land. The story utilizes genre fiction to explore themes of power, wealth, and corruption.

The storytelling methods of Corva are inspired by the non-linear, exploratory experiences of video games like Outer Wilds and Disco Elysium. The world and narrative take influence from the Final Fantasy series, the Dungeons and Dragons table-top role playing game, and The Malazan Book of the Fallen series by Canadian author Steven Erikson.

The user experiences the story as an unseen character that can interact with and influence the world around them. This influence pushes the story forward through animated cutscenes, interactive puzzles, overheard conversations, hidden and collectable artifacts, and impromptu interactions with objects and characters. As the user explores, they will push the main story forward and uncover a deeper understanding of the world of Corva.
